Dood Me Co is a 2D Barcode technologies developed by 2DiC in partnership with Hutchison Telecommunications (3 Hong Kong), and New Media Group. It is not only breaks through the traditional reading but also creates a new page between print media and consumers as well. It makes the print media becomes interactive, interesting, informative and shareable.


When the users downloaded the Dood Me Co Reader to their mobile phone (with camera), captured the code, decoding software reads the encoded information and prompts your phone's browser to visit the URL contained in the 2D barcode. Additional information like pictures, video, images, songs and text that can be read through in once. It reduced the time for typing, searching on the internet via the mobile at all. Dood Me Co is popular in different countries (e.g. Japan & HK) and we can find it from different teenager magazines easily, such as 新 Monday, 新假期.


The content of Dood Me Co not only for advertisment, but also for news, lucky draws, photo, movie, MTV, etc. It will provide a new platform for users to reach different kinds of information and marketing message beside internal but through the printed media.
